We are excited to announce that our CEO, Latasha Harris, was featured in a story on nurse staffing for the Springfield Business Journal (SBJ). The article, titled Area Hospitals take varying approaches to filing the nurse workforce shortage, discusses the challenges and solutions to the nurse shortage. This article highlights Latasha’s work as the founder and CEO of Nurse Hustle Recruitment, a Springfield-based agency that helps hospitals fill nurse vacancies amid the ongoing worker shortage.

In the article, Latasha discusses the challenges facing the healthcare industry, such as the rising demand for nurses and the declining number of nurses entering the workforce. She also shares her insights on how hospitals can attract and retain nurses, such as offering competitive salaries and benefits, providing flexible scheduling, and creating a positive work environment.

“I decided that I wanted to start my own agency because I saw a lot of travel nurses get ripped off,” Harris said. “The agencies would take more than they should from the nurse. I wanted to start a transparent agency. I wanted to share that traveling nursing experience with my co-workers and all the nurses that I met along the way.”Latasha Harris

We are proud of Latasha’s accomplishments and her dedication to helping the healthcare industry. We are confident that her insights and expertise will be valuable to the SBJ’s readers.
